NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TOWN OF EATON

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Eaton, New York, at a regular meeting thereof held on November 18, 2025, proposed Local Law No. 6 - 2025, titled, “A Local Law to Amend Chapter 120 of the Code of the Town of Eaton to Consolidate and Create a Board of Appeals and Planning Board and to Abolish the Existing Board of Appeals and the Planning Board,” which Local Law consolidates and creates a new seven member joint Board of Appeals and Planning Board in the Town of Eaton The full text of said Local Law is on file at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Offices located at 35 Cedar Street, Morrisville, New York 13408.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on November 18, 2025, the Town Board determined that that this proposed Local Law is a Type II Action in connection with SEQRA, thus concluding it environmental review of the action.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Local Law at the Town Hall located at 35 Cedar Street in the Town of Eaton on December 9, 2025, at 6:05 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at which time all persons interested will be heard.
